Questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a link to my Google reviews?

Find your business here and we build the link from your Google place ID. Opened on a phone or computer, it goes straight to the box where the customer writes their review (they have to be signed in to Google).

What do I do with the QR code?

Print it on a card, receipt, invoice, menu or sign, or put it in a van window. A customer scans it with their phone camera and lands on your review box. The PDF card has it ready to print.

Is it allowed to ask for Google reviews?

Yes, asking is fine. What Google forbids is paying or giving gifts for reviews, asking only happy customers (review gating), and writing reviews for your own business. Ask everyone, and answer every review.

Will more reviews help me rank?

Reviews are one of the signals Google uses for local results, and they decide which business a customer chooses. A steady stream of new, genuine reviews that mention your service beats a one-off burst.

Does the link expire?

No. It is built from your business' place ID, which stays the same, so a printed card keeps working.
