Questions
Ahrefs' score from 0 to 100 for the strength of a website's backlinks: how many other sites link to it, and how strong those sites are. Higher is stronger.
No. Google does not use it and does not publish a score like it. It is a good way to compare websites, but a high number does not guarantee high rankings.
By earning links from other websites that are real and relevant to you: local press, suppliers, partners, sponsorships and good directories. It moves slowly, so think months, not days.
On a shared host (name.pages.dev, name.blogspot.com and similar) Ahrefs gives every subdomain the host's own score, which says nothing about your site. We show those as unrated rather than a number that would mislead you.
Ahrefs updates it continuously. We read each website's rating again when ours is a month old.
